Calleija - Reflections of Rarity

Over 90% of the world’s supply of Pink Diamonds were sourced at the Argyle Mine in Western Australia, yet just 0.1% of the mine’s total production was pink. There has never been another location in the world that has unearthed diamonds with such vibrant and beautiful colours as the Argyle Diamond mine. ARGYLE PINK DIAMONDS A STORY OF EXCEPTIONAL RARITY The Teaspoon Only the very best diamonds qualify to be considered Tender Diamonds and they are exceptionally rare. To qualify for the Argyle Tender, each diamond is evaluated after the gem is cut and polished. It is then assessed for hue, saturation and colour. They represent less than 0.01% of the diamonds ever unearthed from the Argyle Mine. It would take an entire year’s production of Argyle Tender Diamonds to fill a teaspoon. To illustrate the story of this rarity and to celebrate the final Argyle Pink Diamonds Signature Tender, Calleija artisans have designed and created the Argyle Pink Diamond Teaspoon. Crafted in Platinum and 18ct Rose Gold, the Argyle Pink Diamond Teaspoon features sparkling White Diamonds and two incredibly rare Argyle Pink Diamonds from the 2021 Affinity Collection of Argyle Premium Melee. With three hundred and seventy-two diamonds totalling 4.56ct, the Argyle Pink Diamond Teaspoon is a true collector's piece that celebrates the legacy of this iconic mine for generations. Calleija is filled with great pride to be custodians of several Argyle Pink Tender Diamonds and with such rare diamonds, brings immense responsibility. To showcase them with great artistry and reverence is an honour and we invite you to view them in our London, Gold Coast or Sydney boutiques. Every year, the finest and best quality Argyle Diamonds were chosen for the most exclusive diamond event in the world — the Argyle Pink Diamonds Signature Tender.
